Usability Study: Sample Cleveland Clinic Web Usability Case Study - Step 2
 The next phase of our strategic roadmap was to address the navigation as well as the information architecture from a user's standpoint. This was done using a simple wireframe, allowing for easy edits in a short timeframe. The current Web site was organized mainly by departments and services. This required the user to browse an extremely extensive list. Through a series of personas and profiling, we concluded that users don't often know the specific department or service they are looking for, creating frustration and often resulting in a "dead end". Our goal was to expand the navigation to provide information by disease, treatment or condition, as well as by specific department and location. These navigational elements were placed directly on the homepage allowing the user to jump directly to the information they are looking for. Continue to Step 3
